How to Begin and Finish an Autumn Landscape Painting

Planning, sketching, color mixing….and so much more goes into the creation of a finished landscape painting, which is true of any genre of painting! The process is pretty detailed, and it begins before any paint is squeezed out of the tube!  In order to show the process, I’ve made a short video to give a little inside, “studio” look at the steps I took as I created Autumn Radiance, 24×18″ oil on canvas.
